In its current iteration, The Studio is a YouTube channel capturing my exploration of different literary traditions. The primary aim of this project, as with all versions of The Studio, is the expression of self, and this is hopefully realized in a way that is equal parts entertaining and informative.

Entertainment Show

This version of The Studio is now a completed art project: 15 episodes recorded across 11 months in 2020-2021. It is still available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube (audio only).

The Studio, in this iteration, consisted almost entirely of monologues covering topics in Society & Culture. Though performative, it was authentic, and I am proud of the show. It is a representation of who I was at the time that I was making it.

Poem

The name “The Studio” comes from a poem I wrote on my 23rd birthday. Captured by a sudden bout of inspiration while out walking around Russian Hill, I hurried home and wrote the poem in a single sitting.
